Connection issues

oh no when it was connected it didnt work

its disconnected rite now thats why

my cousin was putting it in

and then after when it didnt work

he jus took the fuse piece out so it wont be connected to the battery anymore

come on guys im not that dumb loll

Is there a way i can take some sort of video n put it on here??

Yes photo bucket lets you upload videos but that isn't going to help.

What deck do you have?

Where did you buy the amp?

Did the system ever work?

Did you check all the fuse connections?

Did you sand off the paint by your ground connection?

Where did you ground it?

How long is your ground cable?

Did you buy that whole package at the flea market?

What kind of ohm load is the amp seeing?

Answer those and that would be a better start in troubleshooting what you may have done wrong

yea because we didnt want it to get damaged and we didnt want to keep it hooked up to the battery either when the system is not even working

thats why in the pics its not connected not because i didnt connect it

come on now lol

i don know what a deck is

i bought the amp n sub at circuit city, they came together in a bundle pack

no it never worked when it was fully connected

yea my cuzin checked all the fuses, he doesnt kno wat went wrong

i did not sand anything off, nor do i know how to do

idk wat its called that we grounded it too, but theres a picture of it

theres a pic of ground to the amp also

Use a multimeter and check for +12v at the amp's end of the +12v wire and for +12v on the remote wire at the amp's end. Disconnect the wires when checking so you're sure it's not bleed through voltage from one to the other. Also make sure your GND has good continuity to the chassis, paint scrapped away, etc.

Well here is the problem: Neither you or your cousin knows whats what in car audio so having him check stuff is as useful as Santa giving financial advice. What I would do if I were you is stick around this site read all the stickies in each section and hopefully you will learn whats what in car audio thus giving you the ability to know what the hell you are talking about which would help other members find out whats wrong with your system.

First of all no disrespect intended until now

I was being blunt because I have tried very hard to help you and all you can say is I don't know... other members wont even do that so feel lucky. If your cousin puts a fuse over 10 feet from the battery then he is an idiot because that defeats the purpose of the fuse. You are a fuccking idiot and your cousin is too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/bigwave.gif.16324171cad2db62cf4f16568b038478.gif
