I have my system all set up properly but it isn't working.

It isn't the sub or amp because we connected them to another car

and they work fine. I live in southern connecticut so theres not many shops around

here to look at it and there expensive too so I was wondering if anyone on here can help me of some sort and tell me what might be the problem, we were thinking its the wires but i don know.

Thanx

well does it turn on or nothing at all? it could be that there is no power getting to the amp if it doesnt turn on. if it does turn on, then you most likely not getting signal to your amp. make sure all your fuses are good, and that everything is connected in theproper places

You are going to have to run a wire from the battery and fuse it according to what wire you are using that looks like maybe 4 awg if it is then 60 or 80 amps will work. After you run the wire to the back plug it into the spot that says + 12 on the right of the remote wire (little blue wire)

To the other members: give him a break he is just a noob
thats 8 gauge wire. make sure you fuse no farther than 10 inches from the battery.

im not giving him a hard time. but somethings are very obvious

Remote goes to the head unit's 12v remote wire (it is +12v only when the headunit is on), the +12v goes to your battery + and GND to ground. You should fuse the +12v wire within 18 inches of the battery too. You can use the car's chassis for ground. Find a good bolt to attach the GND wire to and make sure the wire is large enough.
