Connecting power wire to battery...

Hey everyone Im running 4 gauge power wire in my Tahoe and when I was finishing up today Unfortunately the hole on the Rockford 4 gauge crimp ring is a little too small to fit over the screw of my positive battery terminal...what should I do, this is the first time I have had one not fit...

Drill. Get the GM Batt Post Adaptor.

Drill the hole in the crimp ring bigger? Or can I just get the adapter? or both? lol

run down to the stereo shop plunk down 10 bucks and get the adapter.

I took a drill and slightly enlarged the diameter of the crimp ring and screwed it down to the terminal, worked fine.

drimel tool would work well too.

Whats a drimel tool? Well I used a step drill. Its a drill bit that has several sizes. Or u can just be ghetto like i was first off and use a pair of heavy duty scissors and grind the inside.

go to your local ace and get a 4 ga connecter with a bigger hole...when i went they had multiple hole differences....there like 1.25

dam when I went searching for them I couldnt find them in my area, so all i did was take some cutters and cut one part in the center and spread it wider on each side, then just screwed the sht down. Its been like that for over one year and not a problem yet.

or take the end of the connecter and hold it with either vise grips or if you have a strong hand some pliers..get a drill with a bit a little bigger then the hole....lay it on the ground and drill into it...drill till the proper circumfrence is acheived...ouch
