Connecting Computer to TV screen...

Ok, I'm sure this more than likely a very basic simple answer, but neither me or my friends know how to do it. I know there's a way, Im just hoping its cheap.

What I'm asking:

What kind of cord/av/splitter do I need to connect my computer into the AV inputs on my TV to have whatever is on the computer show up on the television?

Does your Tv have dvi, s video, or vga inputs? And does your computer have the same, but in outputs?

u can use a s video wire or a standard vga monitor cord. it just depends what input/outputs your tv/computer has

i believe if you can VGA is your best bet

use picture in picture. on my tv u cant do pc in tv, but tv on pc.

my TV has s-video out so I just use that. I only use it though to watch movies/vids and such. The resolution sucks for text.
