Connecting & Charging a Capactior

ok, let me get this right.

1- first i should connect the caps + and - output terminals to the amps + and - input terminals.

2- connect the gound to the caps input - terminal

3- connect the 12v power cable to the caps input + terminal but leave the fuse out of the fuse holder

4- now i use the 12v bulb or a test light and use the fuse holder to bypass power to the other side.

5- until the 12v bulb or a test light, lights up the cap is charged.

is this right?

Actually I would toss out the sh!t cap. Upgrade your system battery (Optima yellow top), and upgrade your "big 3" wires under the hood to either 2/0 gauge or 4 gauge wire. This will do more for voltage regulation than a crap, oh I mean cap.
