Connecting active sub to receiver?

My wife was given this Philips HT system as gift a while back:

Detailed specifications on HTS3106/F7

It's a very cheap surround system, but until I get a better one in a few months, what is the easiest way to connect an active sub like the one I have in the link below to the receiver in the Philips system without connecting speaker wires directly from the sub to the receiver? Is that possible? Please let me know if you do, thanks in advance!
