confused to which setup is teh loudest

SXs are great sub, I've owned a bunch of them in the past and haven't been dissapointed w/ a single setup with them.

Just buy the SXs... Won't be too expensive and you won't be dissapointed w/ the result.

by competition do u mean something that will get loud as hell on 1 bass note than u cant hear shit else? other words NO bass mekanik or rap or chopped and screwed music. or you want something that will be **** loud with all types of music. a little FYI even tho nothing is impossible but when you want something LOUD as hell on music and kick *** on the meter and only got 1000$ to spend, and limited space to work with i suggest you bring some of your expectations down quite a bit.

ive owned sx's i had 2 18" SX in an 22 cube box with 108sqin of port tuned to 26hz running off an autotek MM 4000.1 and it was REALLLY sick it got hard to breathe at times. it was really more than the average joe. i think this is the type of setup u are looking for huh?

lol you can go to wal mart and buy a sub and amp, and put it in a competition and think its a competition setup....

i know am not the most knowledgable person when it comes to car audio....

and i am not being a dickhead...but to me it sounds like you need to define to us your goals and what you mean by "competition setup"

then i am sure everyone here can help you...

"competition worthy" doesnt tell us anything...

imo on 2000 watts 150 db on tl is nearly impossible unless you have crazy cone area

We dont know whether you want to bassrace or DBdrag, whether you wanna burp at 70 Hz or play comps on music at 30-50Hz. We dontk now your goals.

unless you have an sub with an 50lb+ motor 18s are gonna make and motor look small! sx has the same motor on all of the subs u put the 10sx by the 18 the motor on the 10 looks 5 times bigger. 18s are just beastly subs and pretty much make anything looks small lol.
