Why 15"s.

Id say 2 DC level 4 15"s in 8 Cubic Ft Tuned to 38 hz with 6 Inch Aeros on about 2500 Watts would be pretty sick as long as your electrical could handle it and you deaden.

Honestly i think this is going to be one of those things where you think anything we suggest sucks because your friend doesnt know how to install. Whats his experience, has he ever built comp boxes, has he ever built good ported boxes. How many systems has he done.

Lmao, you obviously dont know how loud 160 Actaully is. I think you need to learn some more before you try to do this.

No u just sounded like a complete fvcking idiot when u made that statement, hence why everyone had that reaction.

If u did get the DCs and had it "professionally" installed, i'd highly doubt you could do a 150 w/ a daily enclosure.

DC's subs i have never liked ive seen someone blow two of the 18s but since its like i dont like dc but he blew them probably cause hes a tard but anyhwho

Yea MTs are awesome subs, i currently run 2 18s in my Explorer. But they are pretty power hungry and w/ the 2000 watts you said u have on tap you'd only really be able to push 1 daily. Plus it still wouldn't be pushing them to their limits.

If u don't like the DCs, then look into DD 2515s or SX 15s.

How do you plan to get the box in the trunk?

I owned a '95 Z34 and I promise you CANNOT get an 8ft^3 box on there... MAY BE 6ft^3 at the very most unless you yank the seats and put it in form the front but even then you will probably have ot hack stuff up to get 8ft^3 worth of box in there!

It was 181 and that was in an extreme car w/ insane amount of power. Plus he is one of the more intelligent members of the car audio community and has built some of the loudest vehicles in history.

The are a lil more pricey than similar woofers in its power range, but you pay for quality. They are great build quality and take a good amount of power over their rated wattage.
