of course ill probably get some book shelves (maybe make my own) to go with the reciever so ill just use that for both the tv/movies and the computer. ill probably go with the onkyo tx-8222 like mentioned in the other thread if i can confirm i can use both speaker out a and b to get signal to a plate amp and go 2.1 like that.

They really aren't bad speakers at all, they do need a notch filter though (or some EQing) to be completely flat, if I were you I would just keep them and try them out in that enclosure, its less than a sheet, hell half a sheet. Few hours and a few bucks in wood...

i really dont have much room for floor standing computer speakers or i probably would. and that would really be trial and error since i have a different model 3". i may figure something out for a filter/crossover for what theyre in now if i figure out how to do so. for now i think ill just go the reciever/bookshelf route.
