I am looking into buying some components to replace the 6 1/2s in my front doors. I was thinking about getting the type R's, which are 50W RMS and 200W total each. I have a profile california a400xl laying around, I'm wondering if it would work. Its 100RMS x 2, would I be able to just turn the gain down and use this for the speakers so I didn't overpower them?
