Component vs coax

Alright well right now i have ths stock speaker in my scion xb... they sound alright... but it seems that they could be alot louder... well i want them to be loud... i dont usually use my ac... so the windows are down all the time... a local shop is offering me some focal 130kf 2 up front for $175 installed is that a good price if you dont know im a newb... but learning... also in the rear of my vehicle....should i go with a coax or a component?

Personnaly I used a set of coax off small power (deck power) while my fronts weere amped. Couldn't tell if they wer eon or off in the front but made it nice for the rear passengers.

From anything i have seenor read components in the rear will throw off the image of the stereo.

rear fill isn't necessary but i would go with coax's for the back, save money

I am not a big fan of the typr R coaxials. Kicker on the other hand makes very decent ones. Eclipse and polk are decent too.

So you need componets for the front, coaxils for the rear and an amp to drive them all?

i've had polk components before, great for the money i paid at the time, really got better after it was amped.

i just got some rainbow slc's, heard they were the best for the money now, i'll let you know how they sound but search em, and if you like what you read pm 6spdcoupe, he's got the connect

Type r's arent that good at all from what I have read on here. Seems like you could probably install these yourself too and save some money.
