if you read my previous post, which i supplied to you, i said i spent all of the available money on the subwoofers and was unable to get the comps i wanted, which i regret. I had enough money for the comps, but now the restoration of the vehicle became more pricey because of complications, disabling me to get the correct comps.
Yes, I did read your previous post, which is why i wrote mine. You spent all of your money elsewhere, and now expect to get a fronstage setup that matches your multi-thousand dollar subwoofer system for under 350$ with how much wattage total being pushed to them??
I was planning on purchasing two sets of either Focal Polyglass 165 VR3 or JL Audio ZR650-Csi, which in my opinion are pretty dang nice.
So honestly i don't need some random dude being so condescending on me, you aren't my father.
Great. So go buy them; don't post a thread asking about it here, then be whiny when someone gives you an honest answer. You may not want to hear that you are being unreasonable in your expectations, but that's how it is; deal with it.
I don't need to be your father to tell you my opinion. You ****ing ASKED for it by making this thread. Grow a pair of balls and stop being a little ***** because you hear something you don't like. And BTW, just because someone is informing you that you've done something wrong doesn't mean they are being condescending. My last post was in no way condescending. Did i say 'poor little boy, you spent all your money on new subwoofer toys because you're too dumb to realise you need new speakers'? No. I just informed you that you're being unreasonable in your expectations. If you go used, you might find a set of decent comps that can hold their own with your sub setup, but most likely if you go new you will need to spend above 400$ to get close to keeping up with those subs at full tilt. You'll be able to HEAR them...they'll just be getting thrashed by those subs to the point you can only hear the treble.
Ohh and by the way, the DD cost $1040 a piece new, i bought them very lightly used, and one last thing. I am 16 and this is my first system. No i am not rich, i have worked for the last 2 years after school and during the summers for my restoration and system.
Good stuff. Congratulations on saving for so long; that's not a small feat. Now save some more and get your frontstage right the first time, or buy something that you think is 'pretty dang nice' and deal with that until you can afford the correct solution. You spent almost 2,000$ on subs plus amplifier cost, but now you don't want to to spend more than 400$ on some components to match your setup.
If you want to deal with a 4 channel amp pushing 2 sets of speakers, or bridging a 2 channel amp (ugh) to 2 sets of speakers, enjoy the sound of cancellation and a shittily imaged soundstage. If that's what you want, just go do it and quit asking for advice that you don't want to hear.
Then again, judging by how you've thus far chosen to spend your money, you probably are still in the 16 year old 'what? you mean my stereo plays music AND bass?' stage where you can't hear the difference between a cymbal and a snare drum anyway. **** it, why do i bother
see that, that's being condescending, you cvntrag. Whine about it some, now you've actually got a reason.
