Yeah not really looking to go active these days. Just looking for plug and play to replace my phd fb6.1 component set I have now (drivers side midwoofer is blown due to negligence a few years back).

I got a set of infinity kappa 90csx from amazon for under $200 recently. A lot of people seem to like the Image Dynamics offerings under $200 too

Amazon has the Infinity 60cxs for $229. Woofersetc has the Image Dynamics CTX65 for $164 after coupon.

Why dont you just keep the PHD but replace the midwoofer? Just grab a pair of silverflute 6.5s

I thought about that too, but I'd also just like to try something different.

I used to only do passive but once I went active and heard/felt the difference, I don’t think I’ll go back. I bought the infinity set for my wife thinking passive would work but I just can’t do it lol
