Component set for 95 civic

id get 1/0 kit, and 5 feet of 4 gauge, and a distro block that has 1 x 1/0 in and 2 x 1/0 or 4 gauge outs....dont bother buying 2 amp kits, for the amount of power you need, one run of 1/0 is plenty

are you planning on a battery for the trunk?

Ahhh, I gotcha. So something along these lines?

I'm not meaning to advertise for knu, just trying to clarify. As for the trunk battery, I was planning on just upgrading the alternator/big 3 and seeing how it does.

ya you should be fine with a decent batt under the hood, I was asking about the trunk batt because you could bypass a distro block, tie into the rear batt terminals and just use a fuse holder for the one amp.

you could use one of those that has can hold a fuse but id personally I would go with one of these

Tsunami TSDB-8021 Non-Fused Ground Distribution Block

and than use a ANL fuse holder for your aq amp. you can only get 150a fuses with those mini ANL fuse holder/distroblocks. if you ever plan to upgrade to a bigger amp you will have the anl fuse holder and can get up to 350a fuses...

heres one

Thanks for the explanation. & I definitely appreciate you looking out for me to upgrade in the future. I do think for now I'm gonna stick with the single battery.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that you would recommend this kit, with all copper wires

Car Audio Wire

over this one for $40 less?

Also, the kits comes with 1 anl fuse holder capable of up to 300A, do I need an additional one?

also what size fuse for the kit? Sorry if this is noobish.

Its no problem, dont forget to thank me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The one thats more expensive is very flexible cable, like a noodle, if you think you need that than spend the extra cash for it, I personally don't care.

Your going to need a fuse/fuse holder on your power wire thats around 12" from your front battery, than your going to need another fuse/fuse holder on your power cable thats 12-18" from your AQ amp. I suggest using a 200a ANL fuse for the front by your batt, and a 150a fuse by the amp...

does this make sense to you??

oh, dont forget, it looks like in the amp kit its missing the rca cables, your going to need 3 sets, one for your front speakers, one from your rear speakers, one for your sub amp

alright, thanks to your explanations and some pics I think I got it... Using this pic:

Their power distribution block would be replaced by the ground block you linked (or similar).

One wire ran to 4ch amp and the other connected to the aq1200d with the 150A fuse.

Do you recommend another ground block before connecting the ground like the picture above or does it matter? Do you recommend 'higher quality' rca cables? I noticed knu has about 5 different models to choose from. Thanks again - you've been a huge help!
