Component Problem

I had my components hooked up to my amp without the tweeters and crossovers just to see what they would sound like and when i hook the midrange up then add the wires from my amp to the crossovers the sound keeps cutting off? Im not sure what the problem is, does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

The amp is a kx 250.2 and the components are kicker ks 6.2 if that helps any
