getting a new set of comps. i currently have a pair of boston S60's and love them,

but im looking for something with a little more to them,

what i want in a pair of comps is durabilty, lots of power, high volume with crystal clear sound,

im buying 2 pairs so im only going to spend about 150 on a pair,

what should i go with,

Rainbow

Eclipse

or anything else you can think of thats good

i have heard focals can get super loud and stay nice and clear

BA's speakers are known to handle alot of power. MB Q's tweeters can rip your head off, which will make them quite loud. JL's stuff is a bit more laid back, I like them, but I don't think you would same with morel. Maybe try a set of used z6's.

What type of sound are you looking for, because all of those speakers can be classified into what you have listed. DO you want more of a laidback tweeter, a harsh tweeter...Tons of midbass or not really... What kind of music do you listen to?

thats the problem, i like alot of music, i mostly listen to indy rock and hip hop, sometimes metal..

anyway i think im more of the type that likes more tweeter then usual, more tweeter the the S60's put out anyways, i like the midbass too. im not sure how exactly to describe the kind of sound i want

look into CDTs as well...they also have a/d/s on sale at sounddomain...for the price, not much can beat them
