Complete system: I am about halfway there, but I need more help.

You need a distro that can take a 1/0 wire and split it into 2 4awg wires.

The two 4awg outs will be used 1 for your sub amp, and 1 for your speaker amp. You also need to buy some fuses, and fuse holders.

I just bought some 1/0 wire from the FS section. I got 20 feet for 55 bucks.

All I need now is 2x 0/1 awg fuse holders, and the fuses to match

I also need 2x distro blocks for the ground and power in the trunk.

You can post what you need in the "wanted to buy" section, and see what people have to offer you.

ALso you can fuse the main run of 1/0, and then send that into a 1/0 distro block with 2 4's, or you can just get a fused distro block that does the same thing as fusing the wires. I would say get 300 amp fuses, you would probably be okay with like 200amps, but they are cheap anyways.

You also dont really need a distro block for the grounds, just send the grounds from the amps directly to the chassis via 4.

So I don't need to fuse the wire near the battery? I can just do it at the distro box?

I guess since I already have 2 ground wires, I might as well just run them without a box.

I have my alternator + wire fused, but I dont have my main run of 1/0 fused until it gets back in the trunk at the distro block, it is then fused both ways to each of the 4awg power wires to the amp.

maybe im doin somethin wrong.

you should have a fuse within 18" of each power source......one at the front battery and if you have another battery on the main 1/0 run then fuse the line again at the rear battery(between the 2 batteries)

if you have fuse holders, you can buy 250A or 300A fuses to fit them...don't buy another holder just to get the larger fuse...

for the distro's you can get any distro you find....they all do the same thing
