Complete system: I am about halfway there, but I need more help.

hmmmm. I can do all of that stuff, and more. I just don't really know where the wires are in my car. Time to look up the specs.
nobody cares where they already are, you are putting new in on top of what is already there....run them from one point to the other and be done

Yeah big 3 is an addition to the stock wiring, Its literally + from the alternator fused to the + battery, - on the battery to the chassis(make sure you sand it down), and find a place to ground your engine to the chassis.

Are you going to run your ground wire all the way from the back up to the front battery? If not, you don't need near that much 1/0. I had enough in the Kicker 1/0 kit which is a 20' piece and a 3' piece, to do my Expedition and had enough left over for the big 3. Here's a link to the Kicker kit. Why do you need 2 4 gauge kits? The 1/0 dual kit should have been all you needed.

I used 12' of 1/0 to go from battery to distro in my passport:fyi:

I think I can handle that.
So I need some dynamat, a new battery, and a bunch of 1/0 gauge wire.
Yeah I would say about 15ft for a run from you main battery + to the back of the car where your amps are, and then you can split that 2 ways of 4awg, for the sub amp, and one for the speaker amp. Then ground your amps to somewhere in the trunk that is an excellent ground(to minimize as much engine noise, and alternator whine etc).

Grounds are important as hell.

Measure how much wire of 1/0 you will need for underneath the hood.

I already have the 2 4 AWG kits.

I just figured I would sell off whatever I had left.

As for 1/0, I guess I would need about 20 ft. My car is not that big, so that should be plenty.

I think I am going to put everything in the trunk.

Mount the power distro to the seat, and split off to 2 4 AWG power wires for the Apline amps.

One more question:

Would I want to run one 1/0 ground, and splt it into 2 grounds at 4 AWG for the amps?
