Complete system: I am about halfway there, but I need more help.

I joined this site last month, and in a matter of weeks, I have managed to purchase about half of the parts I am going to need for my install:

-My 15" Fi.Q with BP power will be delivered on thursday

-RE XXX components for the front

-Alpine PDX4.150 for the fronts

-KNU 4 gauge wiring kits (2x)

I am going to use the stock headunit, with the 3sixty.2

My question is: What should I purchase for the remaining items?

-I know I need a box (and I cannot build one)

-I am going to get 50ft of the 1/0 wire from KNU

-I need some new electrical ( most likely a new front Bat, with a couple more for the rear)

-Amp for my sub

-anything else?

I want to run active, letting the 360 do all of the x-overs.

Get a matching PDX 1.1000. You will also need fusing and speaker wire. How much are you willing to spend? I would love to have one of BJ Fisher's boxes. Also, what car is this going in?

This is going in my Mazdaspeed 3. It's got a 90 amp alt, with everything stock at the moment.

I thought about the PDX1.1000, but I think I might need some more power?

The KNU kits include some decent speaker wire, as well as fusing for the power wire from the battery.

I can only buy one item per pay check, and I get paid on the 1st and 15th. I think I might just go with the PDX. I ccan stack them both under the false floor in my trunk. All of the wires will be hidden then.

Also, I do not want a ported box. I am hoping someone could make me one to me specs and ship it to me.

Nice, I didn't see that you had the Knu kits too. the 1.1000 will be enough to get the Q moving, but as we have all seen on here they can take more. That and the Alpine amps are always underrated anyway. Also, nice choice on the Mazdaspeed3. I love those cars! It is going to be LOUD in there. Do you have the stock Navi unit? Seems like you will definitely need a new battery or two and a HO alt.

My car has the cheap-0 sound. Its just a single disc, with 6 speakers.

My Q was ordered with the BP power, so It can REALLY take some more.

I dont need it to be too loud, as I plan on doing the crossover at 80hz.

I think I will be replacing the stock bet, and getting 2 batcap 800's for the rear. I have a nice space to put it all, because I removed the spare tire. Got to love the Tire-pressure-monitoring

This thing is WAYYYY too fast. I just need some new sound, because these speakers BLOW!

That is easier to upgrade then. You should go with a DD navi unit then and get the trim kit to fit it in there. I just hate factory 6cd changers after dealing with my mom's Focus. That Q will be very happy off 1000w then. Sounds like you're going to have a nice loud system. Be sure to make a build log!

I cannot replace the stock HU, because I have auto climate control. It uses the screen to display all of the info for that system. The 360 should work great.

Those PDX amps are badass. If you have already bought the 4.150, I would get the matching 1000 series. You can find em used on here great condition for like $400 bucks. Find out which Kinetik battery will fit underneath your hood and pick one of those up.(Unless you have a difference preference.)

BTW are you forgetting to dynamat your entire front 2 doors, and trunk? You need sound proof man!!

NEEEEEEED. Its a MUST.

I think I am going to order some of that raammat for my doors and trunk.

As for the big three, I am not about to do it myself. If I can find a shop, or a member here to do it, be my guest.

With the kind of power that your going to run in your system, doing the big 3 is a must. Its going to help the overall performance of your electrical system.

If you dont want to do it, find someone too. Shouldnt charge you much.

I wish I could find someone to do it. I am just no good with anything under the hood except changing the oil, and filling up the washer fluid.
