I've got a pair of 05 Type R 12s, and a Tsunami DB1100 (650 @ 2 ohm, 1100 @ 1 ohm).
Here's the story, because of space I'm stuck with a maximum of 3.6 cf for the box. At first I was just going to seal the Type Rs in that box and feed them 1100... but now I wonder.... those Type Rs are beefy little subs... would a single Type R benefit more from 650 rms, but that size box? Meaning...
What would be more ideal? Type R 12, sealed, 3.6 cf, 650 RMS... or two Type R 12s, sealed, 3.6 cf, 1100 RMS...
Would 3.6 cf restrict the pair or subs in airspace enough to make it justify using one sub instead?
