it won't work, the 8ohm will cause a shift in the xover point.

but it's only a 6db/oct slope so it can play up a lot higher than 1khz, just not gonna be loud at those higher ranges

I know it'll play higher, but they'll be 6db down at 2khz, and 12db down at 4khz...that's pretty extreme considering there's an 18db slope on the tweets set at 4.5khz...I'll play with those numbers/slopes tomorrow with my 8053 and see what kind of affect it has. Right now I'm running my tweets at 4khz with a 12db slope, and mids at 3.15khz with an 18db slope.

Just seems like an odd set of points/slopes to me.

I agree that they are kinda odd and that some frequencies might become inaudible that way. Perhaps if the tweets are loud enough...?

I usually just have the tweets and mids cross at the same point and eq down the bump
