I really like the Hertz brand but it doesn't look like I have enough amp to power them and I really don't want to upgrade.

My stock speaker size is: 5-1/2" x 7-1/2"

My amp is a JBL CS60.4.

My substage is a pair of JBL 1202D powered on a JBL CS300.1.

I'm a SQ guy on a budget.

Everything I see out their for a front stage with good reviews seems to be expensive or needs a monster 4 channel amp to power them.

I need more advice here. I'm pretty sure I don't have enough knowledge about this stuff to perform my own installs just yet. Not to mention the lack of tools!

I'd like to stay with the brands (pref higher end) my local installer/dealer has to offer:

Alpine, Cadense, Clarion, Delphi, Eclipse, JBL, JL Audio, Memphis, MB Quart, Pioneer, Rockford Fosgate are the ones the currently carry.

I've had good experiance with JL, JBL and Alpine. I'd love to stay around $150 but for a screaming deal I'd do $285 for a much more expensive, discounted product.

My dealer is offering me a JL Audio XR 5x7 comp set for $285. Hows that?

I've read some good stuff on the JL XR and ZR lines.

Since I've been happy with JBL in the past I found these from a few places online for under $125 new.

I think I can get a set for about $200 new.

I listened to a set of xr's at a local stereo shop. It sounded terrible IMO. Very harsh, wasn't a clean sound. Then they hooked up a set of mb quarts and it sounded many times better.
