Quick question for you guys...I have a 2003 corolla with only .34" room for mounting height in my doors. I'd like to try and find some 6 1/2's that will fit but i havent had any luck. Anyone have any ideas on a set that will fit or some way to make some bigger ones squeeze in without any kind of crazy mod..I really dont want to put 5 1/4's in but if i have to i guess i will. Thanks!

I thought about that but this car is pretty small inside and im pretty tall so i dont think that would work too well.

how about a little baffle inbetween the metal and the speaker? Give your self a little more room.

The mounting height is the problem so a baffle would be even worse. I only have .34" between the speaker mounting loc and my door panel //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Well i got excited when i saw that 1 pair of 6 1/2 comps, the BA SL60's, would fit so i called em and the guy said they fudged up, they actually dont fit, and they shouldnt be listed for my car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif Any other suggestions?
