Comp recommendations for under $300

Newbie on CAF looking for recommendations for a set of front stage components for my 07 Tundra. I have an Eclipse CD5000 HU that I will install this weekend. I plan to add an eD SQ10 in a sealed enclosure for my sub. I have not decided 100% on my amps but I plan to run 100-150 rms per channel for the front stage. The CD5000 puts out 8v on the pre-outs.

None of the local shops offer anything besides Pioneer, Kenwood, JL, Polk, etc. So I won't have an opportunity to hear CDT, Diamond Audio, Focal, or any others that I am considering.

I listen to mostly hard rock (Linkin Park, Korn, Godsmack, etc.) but also a variety of other stuff (Jimmy Buffett, Bob Marley, Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Beastie Boys, etc).

Most importantly for recommendations:

THe sound I am looking for is good punchy midbass and very clear and smooth vocals and highs. I don't want anything too bright or harsh, more laid back.

The CMX265's should be considered as well if you like a bit more extended highs for the rock cravings.

I'm very happy with my Type-x's, they'll be running in that range once I break them in a bit. extremely clear and being from Canada I paid 300 canadian at a local shop (about 270 us). I was between these and a set of Crystal SSCS6 but I couldn't find anyone willing to sell me a set, and i was a little nervous buying something not having heard them.
