Infinity Speakers

Infinity speakers are great entry level speakers imo. Can't beat the price and build quality. If you are looking for something to replace your stock speakers, these will work great. If you are looking for superior sound, you may want to look in to other options before settling on these. Are these the reference or kappa line?

Cool ,thanks.

I have a Panasonic cd\ radio , sony 5 3/4 sony explode in the doors, small box woofers in the trunk, Sony AMP[ 200 watts ]

I had older Kappa's that I really liked.

I've always been a fan of Infinity in their price-range.

Did you get Reference? Kappa? Kappa Perfect? ... What class? Either are good.

Thanks, a friend & myself installed them today & I tell ya, it made a nice difference.

Sound wise, the vocals are a lot clearer & stronger now.

The infinitys are two ways, but sound alot better than the Explode 3 ways.

To tell the truth, I have not made any adjustments on the radio controls as of yet.

Thanks for all the input guys.

Although the brand new references aren't that bad.
I agree.

To cure a bout of boredom while I was at BB the other day, I actually auditioned a set of the new Reference 6020CS, and they were quite clear. A very distinct sound... the midbass was definitely a bit laid-back, but the midrange and highs were surprisingly very clear and quite prominent. In my opinion, I don't feel as if they are truly worth the big-box retailer price of about $220, but for about $120 average for internet retailer pricing, I think it would be a decent purchase for someone on a budget wanting Infinity brand components in their vehicle.

I think Infinity is a good brand, and what you pay for them on the internet, i think its a steal!! Now theyre not the best but still a good product, I have Reference coaxils, they get loud, crisp, and very clear, but mid-bass is lacking, to me i think thats pretty common for Infinity speakers, it gets a lil better as you go up lines, but still not the best, but if ya have a sub(s) that should give ya all the bass ya want //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif So I stand by Infinity as a pretty good buy!

Yeah, one thing that was really noticable was the clear sound of the vocals, but the deeper base was noticably missing somewhat.

In all, I am satisfied with the overall sound.

The explodes had bass, but it didn't sound as good in over all quailty.

Thanks guys. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fro.gif.c695f1f814b01c4ad99fe7f8cccadd29.gif
