comp cut out help

i think i know what to do but dont know for sure i dont have much experince with comp, my doors have 5 1/4 i wont 6 1/2 will i have to cut my doors or just make some mdf rings or will this not work

i would first try some mdf rings, if that doesn't work, you might trim a little off the door to get them to fit... but the rings should help...

you should be able to just do rings. i only had a 4x6 opening in my door and i currently have 6 1/2's in there with just a baffle

comps are fun and with that little bit of extra work they will sound really good. Im about to add clay and more deadener and foam around my mids.

what kind of comps/amp are you getting?
