i cant make up my mind as to what set up i wanna go with.

my original plans was gonna be 2 type r 12's on a cadence txa1000 amp but seein how im not getting that ive been expanding my choices but now im stuck. there are to many good choices for this to be easy.

i love the idea of doing a big ole 18 and from my understanding they get really loud which is what i really want. i want people to say **** can you turn that down my ears hurt.

im not to concerned with sq as i am with spl.

so what do you guys think/suggest?

i dont have lots of money to blow on a amp and sub. im more of a "baller on a budget". i'll prolly attempt to build my own box and i will deff do my own install.

i guess what it comes down to is i wanna be loud as hell but i dont wanna spend a fortune and im confused which direction to go...........

What kind of budget? You can't say "not a lot." Because "not a lot" for some people is like $1K, while for other it's like $300.

see im not sure i guess you could say i would like to stay under 1k all together but if i go over by 100 or so i wouldnt complain if i stayed way under i would be way happy

and this is going in a mits endeavor which is suv not a huge one maybe like a older explorer

Hmm... how about a couple 15" Fi BLs, one Fi BTL 18", or perhaps 2 15" AQ HDCs or even one 18"?

You could do a lot with that much space and still be under the window line.

Not necessarily... big difference in cone area. If given the right enclosure (larger) an 18" would definitely hit the lows better.

But based on your budget, you could either go with two solid 15's (like the AQs or Fi's) or one wooly porpoise of an 18" (like a BTL).
