CM3 vs. D6 vs. Type R vs. other

Of the choices, and considering the pros and cons, which selection would you make to throw in the trunk of a mustang? I a looking for a decent sql setup, but nothing too expensive or crazy.

2) Diamond Audio CM3 12"

2) Alpine Type R 12"

1) Diamond Audio D6 12"

PS: The amp being used is a Hifonics BX1500d and I am going with a properly built ported enclosure.

Anything else in the $200-$300 price range (total) - It can be 10" or 12" woofer(s). Thanks.

the swr-1522d alpine would be thhe best. if you have a shitty electrical system you could use the 12''.

it is rated 1500 @ 1 ohm but i would say (along with a few others) that it is over rated

i would love to do a single 15 but will i loose sound quality if the sub is firing up?

You can get (2) 15 D6 on ebay for around $200 each shipped. You can get the 12's for less than that.

yea i know, but i wanted to keep the cost of woofer(s) under $300 or $200 if possible . I would like to do a single 15" type r but I am unsure of how well it will sound in a mustang - probably a poorly built box because of the lack of trunck space to build a decent box for a 15.

i am not looking to spend a whole lot of money. i just want something decent. I currently have a single 12" JL w6.v1 in a sealed enclosure, but it is just not sufficient enough on the spl side. i would appreciate any suggestions from anyone. thanks

on which part? because i have a friend who has 2) 12" cm3 in a ported enclosure and only 500rms running to both subs and they get loud and also sound pretty well as far as sq is concerned.

if someone could design a box that could fit my requirements I would really appreciate it. the box would be for a single 15" alpine type r in a ported enclosure @ 32hz. the box would be firing upwards (is this okay as far as quality is concerned?)

Height = 10

Width = 25

Depth= whatever

if someone could design a box like this i would really appreciate it.

PS: the reason i would like the height and width not to be any larger is the ease of removing the box w/o having to remove the rear seat frame. i had a flat tire once and had to have my dad drop off my tools so i could remove the whole back seat and frame so i could get to my spare. this whole process sucks.

i ran a bunch of tdx's, and i am actually happier with the cm3/d3. the d3 sounds much more natural. it is getting 650-700 watts sealed where as the tdx was getting 1200-1400, and the bass from the cm3 is clean, energetic, and full sounding, and gets decently loud. the tdx is an inefficient piece of garbage, so dont even bring your talk over here about those.

I got one M6mkII which is the same as a D6 i can sell for 125 shipped if you don't mind a minor dent on the cone, doesn't affect performance.. got pics in the classified. unless you want brand new

so in your opinion what would you rather have alpine typr 12 or a Diamond cm3 12? considering they are about the same price.
