How much power can a 10" assassin handle?

I bought a PG Xenon 400.1 and was wondering could the 10" assassin handle 420watts~ daily? (amp was rated at 430~)..

if not whats the highest you would go?

this is in a sealed enclosure btw.

so a 10" should be able to handle ATLEAST 400watts...

if the coil and suspension on the 10, is the same as the 12.. 400 watts would be plenty.. I wouldn't go too far over it though..

yeah, i was overpowering mine for quite a while.

by the time i sent one to loyd for the test, its suspension was VERY loose.

much more so than when it was brand new.

i would agree with loyd, that 400W is a safe number, though. you shouldn't have any problems sending it that power for the life of the sub.

I'm running 400 a piece to 2 8's with NO problems, believe the 10 is the same motor structure.

I ran 1200 (total) for a couple of days to two 8s, it was pretty loud lol...not for daily though...400 is a great number...
