Clifford Alarm Remote

I have the clifford matrix 2-way alarm. n e ways i have the replacement remote. The LCD one broke, but the battery died so I waited 2 days till i was not lazy to go get the battery, now the problem is it seems the remote lost program and i forgot how to program it. Can anyone help? thanks

door open key in on position press valet twice and hold on second one when you hear a chirp press lock or unlock on remote and your done
