havoc06 is a ****ing retard. If anyone thinks that pyramid amps rocks should be laughed at untill they kill themselves. And a watt is not just a watt, there is major differences between a clean amp, and a pawn shop amp. Memphis is good, becouse all ove there amps are running at 90% efficent and theye are producing clean power. JL Audio is definitly one of the best and I do agree with havoc06 on that, but that is about it.

Havoc06 your glorious pyramid amp may be putting out clean power, but do you honestly think that it is 900 watts worth. It would probably be pushing it to say you are getting 200 watts per channel. Get a memphis and then come talk about amps. Look at my avatar, that is what I am going to do to you if you say that again.

A watt is a watt. Get over it. It's been proven time annd time again. Get 2 different amps that put out the same RMS power, bypass all of the EQ's - then they're the same. A watt is a watt!

So true, but you might want to add that wire is wire. OFC wire that you can buy from Walmart is no different from expensive Monster cable, or any other high cost brand!

yep, thats true to, because i once tried the more expensive rca to get rid of some noise and it of course, didnt do jack. (i love to spend money on pricey stuff, but sometimes, its just not worth it)

I'll agree with you on the RCA's, but I was refering to OFC wiring, not RCA's!(though they may be OFC) But wire is wire!

err, sorry, wasnt paying attention, but you again are right about wire. i remember when ultimate electronics once told me it would be $200 for 50 feet of monster cable wire, 16gauge. he tried telling me if was the best and that other wire will induce more noise and degrade the sound quality of my system. i would have loved to see someone buy $200 monster cable wire after listening to the crock of the sales person, that would just make my day.

Hey, take it easy "Little Hitler". These forums are for debates and not intended for insults. I mean, what if havoc06 killed himself? Would that you make you happy? would it?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the most efficient amp on the market was class D which were at the most 80% efficient. Anyone who knows let me know please.

That is just NON fact and opinionated bullsheist. JL makes very decent amplifiers but lets face it.......JL is known for subs.
