Class D amp, but not cea compliant??

I started a thread on here asking when do u need an extra battery, someone said at 2k, so I went with that and want to get just shy of that to not have to. My car has a stock 95a alt. not sure of how u mean test it's limits.
See what your voltage is. By test its limits see how bad your voltage drop is. Have you put a dmm to it or volt meter and seen how low your dropping at idle and driving? For example my mazda im running 1200w for sub and around 400 for highs. I dont dip below 13v ever.

My truck though im running 800w for a sub and like 180 for highs and im in the 12s. thats what i mean by test its limits. See how low you go with your current swtup low 13s are fine maybe high 12s but anything lower than that plan on electeical upgrades

How do u test voltage while driving?

Hook up a multimeter where you can see it while driving...

You may have to use extra wires to "extend" the leads, but its not that hard. I just mounted a volt meter in my car and wired it up permanently with a relay.

same as slapping a soundqubed logo on the same board as hifonics?
The difference being Maxxonics occasionally puts their brand name on something decent, for example the old Crunch 3000 was also built on a popular 3K board and was pretty legit, and of course almost every 7K or 8K amp that people love use the XXV Sampson board (or very close to it).

Bearing in mind none of these companies build, design, or engineer anything, they just slap a brand name on whatever they can get out of China/Korea. The main difference being what level product the "brand" wants to market, and of course their customer support after the fact.

So I'd say that AQ 2200 and the Hifonics 2400 sharing a board mainly just proves that Maxxonics uses a good board occasionally which was already known.

lol you guys dont need to worry, most of anything after the brz line is chinese crap boards. While soundqubeds new lines got an upgrade. Dont think hifonics will step into the quality side of the boards anytime soon. So as of now, its no competition.
