Hopefully rated. I wasnt to impressed with my old BC2K at .5.. Super inefficent and it sounded bad. I was told it blew from being mounted on the box not from voltage drop. I believe it cause when it blew the voltage was in the 12s.

That makes it less than 50% efficient. If that is true, that amp is the biggest piece of junk on the planet.

ok i clamped a sundown saz 1500 v1 drawing 398 amps at 19 volts and doing 1600 watts....300 amps less than mine and 3200 watts less for all u sundown nutt huggers

Another .8v * that 720A (at 100% efficiency) would give you another 576w. I guess there's your rated. I suppose I'm just used to seeing big numbers from amps that are rising to 1 and not wired to 1. And for $900, I'd expect a little more.

Drawing 720A for 4,800w is retarded.
