Thoughts crescendo bc-2000??

I ran one a .5 for a few weeks.. Not my favorite amp. Very inefficent and would get smoking hot. Its blown sitting right here if you want it. They will rebuild it for $60. DB-r said it was the same board as the Hifonics BXI2600. I heard the 3500 and 5500 where better

If so, what are you asking for it?

old thread, but i also have a blown 2k, despite it never dropping below 12v...Have heard too many bad things about this amp in particular. The 3kwp was outstanding, and my teammate has had great luck with his 3500...i dont know whats up with the 2k tho, had mine for about 10 weeks before it blew.

Never had one blown or not. Was looking at them long ago but I went a different route..

It sold local. the guy sent it back to crescendo for rebuild. His amp medic said it blow from being mounted on the box.
