Choosing a battery?

use 1/0 for the big 3 you could get away with 4 guage maybe but i would go ahead and use 1/0 if you are gonna do it do it right
stock wiring on my truck has only 6 guage

what about 2awg will that be good

for your set up 2 would work fine. you add the wire in a big 3 not replace it. i have ran my amp in my sig and another 1000 watt amp off of my 4 ga big 3...in fact in the "old days" we did most of our big 3's in 4 ga LOL and alot of us ran more than 600 watts. we didnt even have class D amps back then either. I would do the big 3 first and see what happens. if the battery corrodes a ton then look into getting an agm.

ok thanks ill just run some 2awg see what it does i may just replace my batt anyway b/c it is starting to corode

Powermaster D3400? thats like $250 right thast a lill too much for a batt-for me anyway thanks for the option though

for your set up a d3400 probably wouldn't have an advantage of much if any over another proper sized agm. i was told that a higher "max amps" battery would out perform my kinetik and under the way i use my system it was actually worse lol. a system like mine doesn't draw enough to get to this "advantage" and from what i have seen and heard it isn't an audible advantage to the human ear to begin with as it is in tenths of a db. only way it might have an advantage is if you listen with the engine off a lot and your battery or new battery has less capacity.... nice advantages to agm batteries are they are maintenance free, don't have to add water and they do not corrode. worst you may have to do is use a charger on it.

ok so i have two options so far

1) OPT yellow top

2)Powermaster D3400

the PM may be a bit much and would a red top be a good choice also

kinetik 1400 or an 1800 if you ever want to go bigger than you already too big amplifier lol...
