choice between two vehicles

Taco:

Pros:

gas mileage

a real backseat

smaller for city parking

interior will go back together like just like new

ground clearence/locking rear diff

Cons:

less towing

more $$$ (but not much)

backseat = more passengers

narrow bed

composite bed = no ladder rack.

Chevy:

pros:

cheaper

V8 torque/towing

lots of aftermarket parts (for 4x4ing or street trucking)

wide and deep bed for more stuff

low step in height

Nice ride (according to you)

Cons:

Fuel economy

no ground clearance

interior quality

city parking

friends always asking you to move stuff for them

I would get the taco because it would suit my needs. In fact I have a Tundra because the siverados were just a little too big and too low for me. The bed size and towing ability may be really important to you so the silverado is for you.

Silverado:)

But if I had another choice I would go with the TITAN. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

the toyota will last longer...but im a chevy man

LOl Not in truck applications it isnt... Lol..What stupid thing to say //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Last longer, ohh cuz its toyota... Its 07 most cars on the market are very reliable, reguardless of the company.. Trust me iv workd in dozen dealerships shops..

Get the silverado, there great trucks and have good resale value.

true but im generalizing (i dont know how to spell it)
Americans have always built great trucks... so dont evin go there.. ford and chevy build extremely relibale trucks, iv workd for both chevy and ford.. im not mentioning dodge cuz honestly i dont have much exp with them..

o yea the mpg isnt that off Tacoma 19-mpg 23-mpg Silverado 16 mpg city / 21 mpg hwy

Nissan Titan, better truck than both of those, despite what the American brainwash crowd will tell you. They have more power, are build better and will last you just as long as the Toyota.

Out of the two, I'd say Tacoma, my Dad has a 05 Chevy and its got little crap happening all the time. The engine is top notch, but the rest sucks. Odometer has gone out 3 times, screws are popping out. Its just cheap.

BTW I can sell you a Titan cheap.

you've really worked for GM and ford? they still have auto plants there in new jersey?

Just talked to the guy at the dealership the toyota is going to run me about 550 in payments a month. Thats over my budget, but I am going to see if i can get them to work on that possibly. I guess I could even go down to the extended cab and not the double cab, hmmm that would be a thought.

http://www.npr.org/news/specials/gmvstoyota/ ...i said i was generalizing, yes gm and ford make good vehicles but they, in my experience, wont last nearly as long a toyota or similar. i love chevys my first 2 cars were classic chevys and my 3rd car was another gm (cadillac), but if i was looking for something that was uber reliable chevy wouldnt be the first thing i thought of
