choice between two vehicles

Whats crazy is that in these days of "gas gouging" by the oil companies w/help from our current admin. that people still want gas guzzling V8s. I can't see going with anyting bigger than a V6 these days unless I had my own business that needed something bigger. Then its a write off anyway.
True, I was just recently looking into getting a new car or new/used truck and I honestly cant afford the gas in just about any truck and I ended up just telling myself to stick to what I have. One car is going up for sale soon. I keep telling myself that since last year, lol!

yeah bighorn or f250 are teh *** but they are out of the price range. The v8 sucks about as much gas as the v6 in this case. Prolly only 4 miles to the gallon better at the most if i remember correctly.

I will be using the truck for recreation. I am not a contractor or anything. I would be pulling a boat or a small trailer. Throwing my mountain bike back there. Hauling yard waste. Helping people move. Just stuff that the convenience of having a truck allows. 2005 tundras don't do anything for me and they are still very expensive.

The Chevy without a doubt. Why? Because its American muscle, thats why.

This forum has too many rice lovin' bitches these days.
Thats a pretty lousy reason for picking a car/truck. I'm not against American muscle either. Some of these trucks like the Nissan Titan and the Toyota Tundra have been winning truck of the year and gettin all kinds of acknowledgement... maybe the American companies should step up their game. When a company who previously made all compact cars (there are practically no pickups in Japan, obviously) is beating the American companies right off the bat at their own game then there is something wrong.

loved my chevy but the toyota

better on gas no real loss in performance

retains its value more

chevy may be american but its 98% foreign parts.

the toy is also built here in the states and honestly probably has more american made parts the the chevy

Well, I love my dad's Toyota T100, never given ANY problems or my sister Celica and my mom's Sequoia either. My family all has toyota's, i had a camaro. Now i am carless until insurance but if you want to take pride in your vehicle you'll find it would be easier doing so with the Chevy. Then you can sing: Don Mclean - "American Pie"

So bye-bye, miss american pie.

Drove my chevy to the levee,

But the levee was dry.

And them good old boys were drinkin’ whiskey and rye

Singin’, "this’ll be the day that I die.

"this’ll be the day that I die."

I love the new chevy commercial BTW with that song. . . makes me want to get a chevy again; i had no regrets.
