Chip Fuse amp going into protection mode

my buddy has a 2000 watt chip fuse amp pushing 2 12" cvr's and it jumps into protection mode it still stays on and hits he has nothing done no battery altenater or big 3 i dont think it is that good of a system to hit that hard it also volts jump down on low i set the amp with bass boost all the way off cause i kno that kills amps gain is all the way up if you kno of anything tell me

Why is the gain all the way up? What is the final ohm load that you are sending to the amp, and VC configuration are your subs?

should be 4 ohms 4 ohm subs with one voice coil

doing big 3 and setting gain correctly are a good start.

no it also has bass boost but it is off
