ejschultz 10+ year member CarAudio.com Veteran 3,005 10 Schererville, IN Sep 14, 2009 #2 If the car requires the "chime box", you can bypass it by wiring the ignition wire on the HU harness to a circuit in the car that is on when the car is in ACC or On. You'll lose the chime when you leave your keys in or lights on though. I've done this many a time.
