Are you retarded? LS1 mang!! The only engine ford's made that had any torque at all (N/A) is that 5.0. Almost any other ford is gutless. Even so, the LT1 is still faster as far as the time era goes. Hell, my GN stock is faster.

I was stating the 5.0's 88-93's were very easy to make fast, as a Ford example, not Chevy. I know what Chevy's brought out, Lt-1 and LS1 like you state. But remember the orginal Cobra, not the ones now, the older 60's Ford Cobra...now that's a car, others still want to be someday.

Trust me, I'm the last to defend Ford, but they have made some great cars/trucks over the eras.

Yeah, I know your car history. I just wasn't sure how you meant to bringup the 5.0. I still think Chevy for cars, and whomever for trucks.

hey tyler, a guy whos kid i am going to give racing lessons to has a ford gt. he knows a guy in sac that owns a ford dealership, and he owns multiple RV dealerships. he lives down the street too. i told him that he should know that if i am teaching his kid, that i will be driving that gt.

I was a diehard Chevy person, but I have a 99 F150 now, and its been changing my oppinion some. For cars, Chevy all the way, trucks-kind of a toss up for me know.

For a diesel, Id prob take a 250 PSD. Gasser-dunno. None of the new stuff though, its all gay. If I was to get a different pickup, it would prob be a 96-98 Chevy though. My Ford seems like a lady truck lol. Street, cruisin, stay on the pavement, the older Chevys are more of a truck to me though (talking 1/2 tons here).

Still love my Ford though. Gutless mofo though, that will change when I get some money....

They are the only one of the Big 3 that hasn't tried to eat all my cash in repairs or kill me, or a member of my family.

I'll be driving Ford for a long time to come.

Chevy

Ive owned a 98 Mustang GT and blew the motor. Had to replace the motor from a flipped cop car. Now I have a '93 Z28. Its much faster even though its auto compared to 5spd on the mustang. My quarter on the Z stock is 14.00 and for the mustang was 15.00. Also the suspension and overall stiffness on the camaro compared to the mustang is so much better. The Z28 is just a **** good car.

I also own an Escort ZX2 which i drive around for work. It feels a lot like my mustang did, everything is just loose. the transmission feels loose. The springs need replacing, the clutch feels loose, the steering is over powered and loose. With all this though I love the car. It runs great.

With the trucks though, my dads friend had an F250 Diesel, brand new from dealer. That thing started leaking at 70k miles. I would still probably buy a Ford truck over a chevy though. It would be a Ranger with the Mazda motor. Those bishes run forever.

for sports car ford GT. truck,f150 svt. for economical car, focus.midsized sedan, ford fusion.full size sedan,fivehundred. average sports cars i would pick the musttang over the camaro just because of the looks and styling are alot better. FORD ALL THE WAY

I pick Ford. I've owned a Chevy Celebrity and a Ford Taurus. The Chevy had more problems than I like to bring up. The Ford needed a front end alignment, once.

For some... I like teh German cars (BMW, Mercedes, VW, Porsche) and Ford. Every Ford vehicle I've owned has been a great one. Ford Crown Victoria, the Linclon Mark VIII, and my 96 Ford Escort Station Wagon all served me well. The Lincoln air suspension airbags were shoddy though... they leaked a lot. BUT....
