i had a 2002 ford f150 supercrew before i had this truck. it is still a great truck. i will never own another chevy after this one. the ford is built better, it is stronger, and drives/handles better. plain and simple the ford is a better truck. if you take apart the door or panel on a ford, it looks nice and built well, if you take one apart on a chevy you ask yourself what the hell is this? ford all the way....my next truck will be a f250 i think.

my f150 was a lariat. the 5.4 triton smoked the hell out of my 5.3 vortec. that was a 02 ford supercrew (4 dr) versus a 05 chevy ext cab too.

I own a Silverado,I have replaced quite a few parts in 3.5 years just in maintenance and to improve the trucks driving characteristics,each part that was removed and replaced I put under inspection and noticed it was the cheapest quality of its kind

All US automakers use the cheapest parts they can find to install on the assembly line regardless of model and price.........

Of the big 3 I think they all could use some help and more honesty.....Not everyone falls for the deception of the Big3...

the only bad thing about is diesel is so high right now, and so far its been gettin like 14 mph, and it has like 20,000 miles on it.
