Chevy Cobalt SS - not quick enough

I was talking HP total, not necessarily to the wheels, around 225 to the wheels would be great

I know they dont make the parts yet, hell it'll be 6 months before I've got my stuff together and can afford to start buying anything other than the system for it anyways

And if anyoen cares to know - the cavalier is essentially just a waste of money, and it's because I want to, dont make fun of me for it either lol

I just think a Cavalier with 500HP would be fun for one reason or another

jus go ahead and buy the monte carlo or impala ss, a guy around town got a 06 impala black wit a bad *** exhaust on it already, that would probably be my first install and tint if i had one like he has

turbocharge it, since it'll be running of the exhaust you won't lose any gas milage. But you might increase the fuel to air ratio a little bit so you might lose 1-2mpg. Most of the lost MPG from forced induction is from the drivers heavy foot.

Yeah, but once again it's not what I want

Price point is huge, as well is the gas mileage, even though the new Impalas have a badass computer system - so saying that it runs on 4 cylinders when you're not on it(I think thats right, lol)

Why re-invent the wheel? It comes SC, leave it SC unless you NEED the extra power

x2 what marley said
and you'll be lucky if that car is pushing 160 to the ground, not bashing it at all because i think the cobalts are awesome cars (i hated the cavi's with a passion) but thats just the reality of it. i was looking at an SS myself, not to buy but just to look at. they look to be some very slick cars im happy to see GM is getting it back together
Actually, the SS dynod around 20x at the wheels. The SS does an ok job of laying down some power.

Actually it doesnt puxh 20x in the car I'm referring to marley, read again - I'm referring to the 2.4l non supercharged SS

The Supercharged SS doesn't do too bad at all, they're pretty quick

But by buying the non-supercharged, I lose approximately 35 HP, just trying to gain it back, modestly
