Was doing some calculations with the dimensions that Supergumby gave me (49" wide, 21.5" tall, and 55" deep), and I can fit 6 18s sealed in there. After bracing and subs displacement, I would be around 2.75" sealed. I know thats small, but with a bunch of polyfill I think it would be ok. I have heard the SSD 18s sealed in around 4 cubes each and they got down. Nasty lows and great range.

Anyone have any ideas on a setup to run? Looking for something that will have a good sound, drop really low, and still get pretty loud. Dont care what size subs... Could be 8" subs, would be 18" subs. Down for either ported, sealed, or bandpass. Maybe a Tline or something? Havent messed with them that much. Really dont want something that needs a million watts like my last setup, this isnt my SPL ride, this will just be my daily. Id like to keep it under 10,000rms because since the entire bed will be taken up with a box most likely, I dont have anywhere for batteries.

Just looking for ideas for a new setup.

not sure what you are asking here, but you could do any of those enclosures. The opening of the bed into the cab of the truck is 21"x50", and roughly the dimensions that i already gave you. Plenty of options in terms of box sizes. The hardest part is dealing with the limited height. And those dimensions i gave you are without building the box into the bed of the truck, however they do require you to move the gutters out of the bed (you'll see what im talking about when you look at the truck)

As for batteries, you can fit two 2400's underneath the rear seat, on their sides.

I dont know if I should go pretty big and take up the whole bed or run something smaller like 2 15s so I still have a bed... I will need the bed for when I start building my next SPL car.

Decisions.... Decisions....

The real question is, do you want shits now or later?

12 10" RD HWs on 3 D9s? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Just a suggestion. 4HW 10s on each D9 running at 1/2 ohm. I think this goes past your 10,000rms limit just a tad bit though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

either of these setups ftw

Im just worried about not having room for batteries. If I do a bandpass, I can design it to have some dead space inside the port where I could maybe fit a couple batteries.

This is one I just did for 2 18s in a 4th order. Didnt design it to have space for batteries.
