Im going to check out this Avalanche Thursday. Hopefully the numbers work out. Was doing some calculations with the dimensions that Supergumby gave me (49" wide, 21.5" tall, and 55" deep), and I can fit 6 18s sealed in there. After bracing and subs displacement, I would be around 2.75" sealed. I know thats small, but with a bunch of polyfill I think it would be ok. I have heard the SSD 18s sealed in around 4 cubes each and they got down. Nasty lows and great range. Anyone have any ideas on a setup to run? Looking for something that will have a good sound, drop really low, and still get pretty loud. Dont care what size subs... Could be 8" subs, would be 18" subs. Down for either ported, sealed, or bandpass. Maybe a Tline or something? Havent messed with them that much. Really dont want something that needs a million watts like my last setup, this isnt my SPL ride, this will just be my daily. Id like to keep it under 10,000rms because since the entire bed will be taken up with a box most likely, I dont have anywhere for batteries. Just looking for ideas for a new setup.
