hello, i have a 2004 chevy avalanche and i want to put a system in it but i still am going to use the bed. so my question is would it be good to put an enclosure in and just take it out when i wanna use the bed (won't be that often) or just do a normal box, but if i do a normal box could you even here the base? ( 2 Audio que HDC312 on 2 audio que d1200)

okay, so i want to put the subwoofers in the bed. if i did an enclosure i would take th mid-gate out and fit the enclosure there so its behind the back seats. if i wouldn't do that i would do just a simple box and put it in the box. what im wondering is if the enclosure is worth the time and money.

a sealed box is something a novice can build for cheap, when you decide you want more you can go ported with the same subs and amps and have a lot more output
