Check out this Install...

any reasoning to the 1/0? I looked it up, and as best I can figure 2 Guage is overkill?
You are running 1000 watts if you get those amps. I figure you may in the future want to upgrade, or add a 4 channel amp when those subs start drowning out your sound. But if you are trying to get this all done in one shot, and the place is offering 2 gauge, by all means. My thing is that if you shop around, you can get a lot more for a lot less. What's the price of the amp kit?

we are installing a 4 channel amp too...

And we have been doing fine with deals.. when we started out it was gonna be just 2 10's and an orian amp he has in his closet, but deal after deal, and a little arm twisting got us here...

The amp kit was 50ish I think, but shopping around to save $5 is a waste of time, and we need more wires anyway... the kit was a begining... I thinkit is a power acoustick kit? dont remember...

Some of the posts on this thread are right on the money.

I agree with the comment on the cap being useless. Second of all, get rid of the rear deck speakers and buy some CDT stagefront tweeters for the pillars and centerstage as well. This will improve your staging being that you are not going active.

I think your sound would improve dramatically, plus you can find them on ebay cheap.

Unless you want to buy my CDT audio ES 07.3 line Eurosports //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Regarding all the JL haters, JL makes decent product but i must agree for the money you can get really nice stuff out there. Do some research and look around, if you were to trade those JL for something more efficient and more power you will be quite happier that you saved money.

just my .02

First off thanks guys for all the help. I'm the guy who's car this is all going in eventually.

What advantages come from the centerstage and stagefront tweeters? What is the active staging? I checked out some new centerstage kits on ebay and this is the only one I could find.

Just wondering if you could outline some of the advantages so I can possibly weigh the addition of the parts down the road. Thanks.

We started building the box last night, and thought you guys might like some pics... I will be adding some more as we go,

Whoever said you need a shop, and a ton of expensive tools to build a good quality box was an idiot... LOL
