Cheapest way to sound proof front doors?

I'm on a very tight budget for my build and I am considering doing SOME kind of sound deadening to my doors. I figure any bit will help. My budget is very low, maybe 50-60 dollars. I will only be doing the front doors. I was thinking of doing a single layer on each door and maybe adding one of those foam baffles that goes behind each door speaker.

What do you think? Anything else that you think is cheap that I can add?

As for the sound deadener, I was thinking this one. Thoughts?

Thanks!

Can't get the link to open, but if this is the eDead , then they were totally out of stock a few weeks ago and weren't even sure when they would get anymore in.

They're looking pretty sketchy on eBay, too....

Run from edead and run fast......... Worst mistake I ever made in audio. If ur broke then use fattmat I have it in my car and it did its job. The asphalt smell goes away in a few days "atleast mine did" if u got a few more bucks buy AT which I also have both are within ur budget so get the one u can afford...

Buy half box of Raammat bxt2 ($90 divided by 2) plus one order of their Ensolite ccf ($20?). That's approximately 18sq ft of bxt2, a quality butyl based product. 10-12sq ft is sufficient to treat a set of front doors of a midsize sedan, so you will have a lot of material still left. This is also a good tutorial on their web site.

Peel n seel from lowes worked good on my blazer roof. Im using some other roofing stuff on the doors of my civic now, they have it at home depot.
No it didnt. A Second Skin rep just released testing for peel and seal and it barely stopped any vibrations in the test.

Vibration test results - P&S or not to P&S, that is the question... - Car Audio Classifieds

Here is peel and seal. Red is frequency after it was applied. Blue is before.

Compared to a legitimate sound deadener. The sad thing is that uSeal was 100% coverage. Deadener was 25% coverage.

It didnt? I listened before and after and it definately helped alot, i dont know how you can tell me what i heard and didnt hear?
It helped a bit with 100% coverage, not nearly as effective as even 25% coverage of a crappy deadener. The tests do not lie.

I used Raammat. It is good stuff. If made a huge difference just doing the 25% coverage. I did cover most of the door just because I was lazy and it was easier to slap a whole pad on it.

Peel n seel helped alot on my roof and helped lots on my friends trunk lid. Ill continue to use it.

Ive never used a real deadener, and wasnt trying to compare to one.
