8500s get loud and really dont need 1000 watts of power to do it.......

600 watts gets it done

x2 on the SDX15. Great sub for the price, and Bob was great to deal with.

Also look into an Exodus Tempest-X. They've been getting great reviews from DIY HT guys, and they're even cheaper.
