Cheap system

a friend of mine is wanting to buy a complete system for about $300...

here is what I picked out..

Front fill: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_4629_Scosche+SC5250.html

Rear fill: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_4631_Scosche+SC6750+6-1-2-+-+6-3-4-+2-Way.html

Amp wiring kit: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_7575_American+Accessories+Power+Kit-8.html

System amp: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_9172_SPL+FX4-840.html

HU: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_8309_Kenwood+KDC-MP205.html

Sub: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_3476_MA+Audio+MA80XE+8-.html

any suggestions to make it better.... a solid $300, nothing more...

don't tell me about ditching the rear fill, it is a taxi pretty much, my friend totes around a lot of friends and wants speakers in the rear....

Id take the 300 and buy a good headunit first then start savin and buy one peice at a time youll be alot happier with nice components over time vs. slappin some cheaper stuff all together now. A good headunit to start with will make a big difference right now.

seems alright....

dude.... this is a person getting a free car, they don't have alot of money, the just want a small system.... they would be happy with stock.... but alas it has nothing in it, just trying to piece an alright budget system for $300

he wants to amp his front, rear, and substage using 1 preout?
yes.... 4 channel amp. two channels for the left and right, and the 3/4 bridged for the sub...

So are you going to power the rear speakers off the HU?
nah, just gonna put the two positives and negatives of the front right and rear right speakers into channel 1 and same with the left for channel 2....

that kenwood is actually a very nice unit for the price.I had that in one of my work trucks.
cool... I saw that it has an aux 3.5mm input
