Cheap system

a friend of mine is wanting to buy a complete system for about $300...

here is what I picked out..

don't tell me about ditching the rear fill, it is a taxi pretty much, my friend totes around a lot of friends and wants speakers in the rear....

Id take the 300 and buy a good headunit first then start savin and buy one peice at a time youll be alot happier with nice components over time vs. slappin some cheaper stuff all together now. A good headunit to start with will make a big difference right now.

dude.... this is a person getting a free car, they don't have alot of money, the just want a small system.... they would be happy with stock.... but alas it has nothing in it, just trying to piece an alright budget system for $300

yes.... 4 channel amp. two channels for the left and right, and the 3/4 bridged for the sub...

I did know it had nothing in it at all. In that case I think I like mabel's set up.

Also, how good would the sub perform in like a .4CF box??

they want a lot of trunk room, that's why I speced an 8" sub....

and one more thing.... can the DVC4 run at 2 ohm to take 225WRMS from the amp?

that kenwood is actually a very nice unit for the price.

nah, just gonna put the two positives and negatives of the front right and rear right speakers into channel 1 and same with the left for channel 2....

yea, I had my ipod hooked to the aux, and the quality was very good

my bad bro. looked it over to fast. didnt know he was getting a single amp for the system. thought he was running 2 amp minimum.

ill go slit the wrists now
