Having flex issues, Video, Help please

Ok so here is the problem, I Noticed today that the bottom of my trunk is very flexible, and moves very much so, I dont know if this is going to cause a rattle Issue but I would think so... Ok well here is the vid, And I jsut need some input on how to fix it,....I was thinking, Maybe taking 2 3/4 Sheets of MDF and bolting them down to it..After I deaden of course...Then Kerfing the MDF around the Spare tire well to the top, To add space to box?

Will this work?Anyways, Any better ideas let me know!

I am going to be building the box into it, so would that still be needed? If I jsut bolted it?

Im still debating what subs to go with, I really want to go with 2 dd 15's, and a Hk4000, But not sure which ones though

haha why were you whispering to her....you could try some expanding foam on the bottom maybe...but a few sheets of deadener ,like mentioned, should do the trick

What year is your Crown Vic? Just curious.

Its a Marquis, but same thing, and its a 96, Just got it like 3 days ago

cut a piece of MDF about the size of the tub, then get some expandable foam, shoot a thin layer (read THIN) down on the bottom and squish it with your piece of MDF.

get a level (you know, ruler looking thing with bubbles in it?) - making sure you are on a level surface, and make sure the MDF piece is level (if you want, i would) and then let dry.

should be good in a few hours. and will give you a place to mount the bottom of your box to. that flexing will stop, or my name is aztommaybassk.

That is what I will do, And Ill Throw a Big *** bolt through the middle to make sure it doesnt go anywhere, And then kerf the wood, around the tire well.
